In anticipation for the new Netflix movie "El Camino", I'm currently (re)watching the entirety of Breaking Bad (which is also on Netflix).
Breaking Bad is the first major television series I've watched from start to finish when it premiered, and it is probably the most influential and memorable show I've ever watched. There are characters and moments I've never forgotten even after 11 years.
I recently caught up with the spin off prequel as well, "Better Call Saul", and that on it's own was great; Bob Odenkirk is fantastic as Jimmy and I couldn't imagine anyone else in the role.
The reason I'm rewatching the entire series is because El Camino is a direct sequel following Jesse Pinkman after the finale, or "Felina" as it was titled. Recently, trailers were released and I think the latest one "Enchanted" beautifully recapped Jesse's journey.
Needless to say, I am hyped for October 11th. And reliving the series from moment to moment should fill out the next few weeks for me and ultimately prepare me for El Camino.
